Project Description

1987 Pro Craft 1660 Grey-Sliver

This is another one of my transom repairs where I cut a section of the hull out to gain access to replace the transom. If this is the first time you’ve seen this through your research and your asking why I do it this way, its simple. It’s just not cost effective  to split the hull on these older boats.

On a different subject, I would like to say that this entire repair, from start to finish was all recorded on video. This will be the first in my new video series for the Do it Yourself Project Person. You will be able to purchase this video and follow through step by step on how to repair your boat. I should have this up and ready mid-September of this year.
